Glenn is a rare gem. As a political consultant, it is easy to become accustomed to accepting that our local leaders aren’t exactly as they present. With Glenn, what you see is what you get. He is honest, well-intentioned, strong, incredibly qualified and… well… nice… and that’s important. I say this with all sincerity… Elect Glenn as Wilsonville Mayor and you will not be disappointed in what you get.

I urge your support for Glenn Lancaster, the city needs him! I have been a resident of the valley and Wilsonville for 60 years. During that time I have been a real estate developer and business owner of multi-family and single family properties. I have owned and operated retail, wholesale and industrial businesses as well as banking and farming.

I understand that for both business and government to survive and thrive, they must mutually know and understand the conditions and constraints under which they operate. In recent years, the City of Wilsonville’s council and planning departments have been pursuing a vision that is simply not compatible with the realities of our geography and existing traffic infrastructure.

Glenn Lancaster understands that and I believe he will bring a fresh perspective to the demands of future growth.

Let’s all support Glenn. The City needs his vision and dedication to problem solving.

I had an opportunity to have a lengthy conversation with Glenn Lancaster, one of our
candidates for Mayor of Wilsonville. We talked about Wilsonville’s problems, our challenges, and what Glenn would like to do as our new Mayor to solve some of these issues. I was very impressed with his thoughts and insights. Glenn has a lot of the same beliefs and solutions that I, and many of our residents, have expressed.

As an engineer, he sees beyond the short-sightedness of previous City administrations. I’m very impressed with his vision about numerous issues, and I think that he is the person we need to lead our city into the future. We are at an important juncture in Wilsonville history and we can’t afford to get it wrong. Too many serious issues are ahead of us. Let’s get it right this time.

I’m officially all set now — this November, I will be voting for Glenn Lancaster for our next Mayor of Wilsonville.

Last week, I sat through my first City Council meeting as an observer. While I learned about some great projects the city was involved with, (Memorial Skate Park mural and others) I also gathered a clearer sense of the current morale of the citizenry. While the ship isn’t “sinking”, it undeniably needs serious patchwork — and fast.

I believe Glenn is our best solution to course-correct and stabilize our wayward ship.

It is a proven fact that both transparency and approachability is severely lacking within our current City Council. Understandably, this has driven many of you apoplectic, including myself. Nothing condescends a taxpaying citizen more than their leaders side-stepping their questions, or worse — scolding them for asking.

I want someone who will actively engage and listen to the citizen’s desires for the city, without distraction or compromise. Glenn would assume this position full-time. Additionally, he understands that the Mayoral office should address the concerns of the People without being a wounded-avoider. He will chart the course ahead for us in a reasonable way that reflects the will of the People.

The distinctive skills and characteristics of Glenn reflect great credit upon himself, his campaign and the city of Wilsonville. He will make an outstanding Mayor for us. Go, Glenn!!

I have been married to Glenn Lancaster for 43 years, and I can confidently say he is the best candidate for Wilsonville Mayor. He has over 40 years of experience in the utility industry. The last 20 years of his career has been as a successful business owner. Glenn has proven his ability to negotiate and work effectively with cooperatives, public utility districts, municipals, investor owned and federal utility entities across Oregon and the west coast. His extensive career and dedication to fair, honest leadership make him uniquely qualified to lead our city through both good times and challenging situations.
Glenn is not only experienced in his professional life, but he is also a person of strong moral character and integrity. He is a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who understands the value of hard work, faith, and community. Those who have approached him to run for mayor recognize his qualifications and ability to lead with fairness and compassion. I believe that under Glenn’s leadership, Wilsonville will thrive and face the future with confidence.
