Let’s Fix This!

A commonsense plan to fix real Wilsonville issues, I call 'Slow Smart Growth'.

Improve Wilsonville Livability

  • Reduce traffic gridlock.

Wilsonville’s traffic is a growing frustration, largely due to poor planning decisions that made it worse. While growth is inevitable, better decisions can fix it. We need to 'people plan' with practical solutions that reflect how we live, work, and move. It's time to focus on what works for our community, not on lofty ideals that don’t fit our reality.

  • Permanently stop tolling.

It may seem hard to believe, but yes, tolling is still in the works. Hearings are happening to figure out how to sell it to us. Some who claim to oppose it aren't being truthful—behind the scenes, they’re fine with it if they control the tax revenue. When it happens, they'll say it was 'inevitable.' I won’t accept this tolling scheme being forced on Wilsonville.

Offer Competent Leadership

  • Look forward & plan wisely.

I love Wilsonville, but our current planning doesn’t reflect the real needs of our community. While well-meaning, these ideas aren’t practical. Most of us need cars—walking and biking won’t meet daily needs. Many families want yards, and while local, boutique businesses are great, people also want more options. I’m committed to including all voices as we shape Wilsonville into the best place to live, work, and play.

  • Full public transparency & participation.

Right now, many in Wilsonville feel unheard. If we want to be a city for everyone, we can't ignore those who disagree. When I talk about Wilsonville, I always mention how 'nice' this community is. It's rare for a city our size, with so much diversity, to feel so welcoming. As your mayor, I will make sure every voice is heard and included.

Defend Local Values

  • Support law enforcement & public safety.

As your mayor, public safety will be my top priority. As a proud father of a Marine and a local police officer, I know the value of those who serve and protect. I’m grateful Wilsonville supports law enforcement, and I’ll ensure they have the resources and respect needed to keep our community safe.

  • End homelessness in Wilsonville.

We are a compassionate community, but true compassion doesn't enable harmful outcomes. Too many of our loved ones—family, friends, and neighbors—have been lost. We cannot solve homelessness or addiction by simply providing temporary solutions. We must tackle the root causes of drug addiction and mental health issues.
